Restless Oaks was founded in 2018 by Oscar Isaksson who was soon joined by guitarist Kim Gustavsson. They were later joined by drummer Rebecka Larsson and bassist Jörgen Johansson. In 2020 they released their debut single Until Tomorrow and in 2021 their debut album The Last Lights. The heart of Restless Oaks lies in 70’s-90’s loud garage rock, but draws influences from folk, country, blues and metal to name a few.

2021-06-04 is the release datum of our debut album The last lights!
The Last Lights was recorded and produced by Kim and Oscar as a massive DIY project in Oscar’s basement. The recording sessions started in early spring 2020 and the album was finished a little more than a year later, in the late spring of 2021. The album contains a wide range of songs, from punk rock to ukulele singer/songwriter.
